The primary weakness of being a spell-caster is that regardless of the magic wielded, they are still human yet not regarded as purely mortal. For the purposes of evaluating the effectiveness of the powers of supernatural creatures against a spell-caster, consider the spell-caster to be supernatural. This reflects on the one hand the basic steps any wizard or witch might take to protect themselves, and on the other hand it reflects their potency. Spellslingers are not victims.


Aging[edit]

Possessing magic slows the aging process, but it isn’t stopped. The lifespan of a spellslinger might last centuries, but for them life is not forever. Then again, who really is immortal? Wizards and witches are not known to die from natural causes associated with old age. Their lives are simply too interesting for that to happen…
